Overall Feedback:
85% positive
86% appreciated the insulation, although 14% were dissatisfied
After testing the thermos, I found that the contents remained piping hot (within 10 degrees F of the original boiling temp) even after 4 hours. The next morning, they were still warm enough to enjoy if it had been tea or coffee.
I heated up some soup and put it in the thermos at around 630 in the morning. I decided to skip a lunch break because I was going to finish early. I arrived home around 245 in the afternoon and opened the thermos. The soup was still piping hot, to where I could hardly eat it.
I have easy grip rubber carry straps on my container.
I experienced that the food remained warm for 5 and 4.5 hours respectively, and the liquid for 11 hours. Based on my experience, I can say that the insulation feature is impressive and this review is positive feedback for it.
My chicken soup stayed hot, not warm, for a long time in the bottle.
I put coffee in the container at 5 am and went to drink it at 1 pm on lunch and burnt my lip. When I got home around 4:30 pm and opened the lid, the thermos was still steaming hot. Based on my experience, I can say that the insulation feature is excellent.
I put boiling hot tea in the thermos without priming it and it stays hot for over 12 hours, starting to get warm around 14 hours but still at a great temperature.
The container works great for hot or cold foods. Even after 4-5 hours, my food was still steaming hot.
The soup was warm but needed to be reheated after 5 hours.
I have noticed that the food becomes lukewarm by lunchtime even after following the instructions and putting boiling water in it before packing. Based on my experience, this is a negative feedback regarding the insulation feature.
85% highlighted the convenience
As a hiker, I find the handle very handy as I can clip it to my pack.
80% finding it leak-proof, despite 20% experienced unexpected leaks
The vacuum seal is not working after just a month of use. It leaks and doesn't keep food warm. I can't put any liquids in it anymore.
I had a problem with leakage from the top and had to pull everything apart for cleaning, including the tiny o-ring on the top.
After testing the thermos, I found that the contents remained piping hot (within 10 degrees F of the original boiling temp) even after 4 hours. The next morning, they were still warm enough to enjoy if it had been tea or coffee.
I recorded the temperature of the water in the thermos at different time intervals. It was 190 degrees after two hours, 180 degrees after four hours, and 170 degrees after six hours.
The bottle keeps water cold for 24 hours. I put ice water in at 3PM and it was still very cold at 12PM the next day, even after sitting in a hot car for a few hours.
