About Flat Low Profile Guitar Patch Cable 12 inch 1 Foot for Effects Pedals
Overall Feedback:
90% positive
93% appreciated its wide compatibility, though 7% experienced compatibility issues
The cable length is only 5 inches (6 including the jacks), not as advertised in the listing and package.
The cables did not last long despite their great design and seemingly good construction.
94% found it extremely durable, though 6% encountered fraying
I have complained that the cables did not last long despite their great design and seemingly good construction.
93% liked its flexibility and ease of handling, but 7% found it too stiff
The cable length was only 5 inches instead of 8 inches.
89% appreciated the ideal length and portability, though 11% found it too short
I was part of the first run of Maka cables, which had rectangular connector moldings. I purchased a dozen or so white cables for one pedalboard, and another dozen or so red cables for another board, in addition to many of the longer length, new style rounded connectors, in black.
The cable length was not as advertised. The listing and package both said 8-inch, but it was only 5-inches long, including the jacks.
I had to use a different cable for the 12 run because the cable I ordered was not 12 long.
91% praised for its crystal-clear signal, while 9% experienced interference
I have been using the cables for almost 2 years without any failures.
I have concerns about the signal quality of the instrument-cable, particularly the shielding around the hot wire and the possibility of interference on stage with other instruments, mics, lighting, etc.
I have an idea about the durability of these cables and how they prevent the common issue of patch cables always spinning one way and back, which can loosen and twist the cable until a solder connection breaks.
