I noticed that the writing is not as bold as before, it's not faded but not as bold.

When I write with blue ink on standard paper, it feels like writing on greaseproof paper. The other colors flow smoothly and write nicely.
I find that the refill's end is too narrow for the nib to pierce.
I cannot comment on the quality of the ink as I cannot fit the cartridge into my fountain pen.

The cartridges are mess-free and easy to use. They fit any pen that supports international short cartridges. I use them with my Wordsworth & Black pen.
The ink-pen-refills are not of standard International/European size.
My only complaint is that the cap does not snap onto the back of the pen while I am using it.
I am unsure what the ink-pen-refills are made for as they are not compatible with any of my fountain pens.
