The top of the container does not clip/snap onto the bottom, which is a deliberate design choice to avoid an airtight seal. This is why it works so well in keeping herbs fresh for a long time.
The container has been working well for the past 2 months, but I suggest a tighter seal on the lid for improvement.
The cover for the air holes is too large for the indention in the top, making it impossible to use for anything that requires humidity/moisture.
The lid does not latch or seal, which is not suitable for airtightness of individual household food containers.

I am dissatisfied with the design of the containers. They don't hold much and don't allow visibility of the contents. The containers should have a clear portion or labeling option. I had to cram in cilantro bunches even with cutting stems, indicating that the containers may not be well-designed for holding certain items. Overall, my experience with the design of the containers was negative.
The lid just rests atop the bin and doesn't latch on.
I have complained that the container lid is loose by design and does not lock in place.
