About Hutzler 374TU Berry Containers 2 pint Turquoise
Overall Feedback:
88% positive
84% appreciated the tight seal, however 16% found it difficult to open
Two of our containers have lids that do not close tightly, no matter how hard we try.
When the lid is closed, there is no ventilation in the container, which is a fatal flaw in its design.
Using the lid is counterproductive as it keeps all the moisture in with the berries, so they mold faster. Berries need air circulation to stay fresh.
I have noticed that raspberries spoil quickly due to lack of ventilation holes, which makes the berries moist.
86% praised the attractive design, but 14% preferred a simpler look
At the farmers market, I use reusable containers to avoid wasted packaging when buying berries. The selections are dumped right into them.
After a few weeks of use and dishwasher cycles, the glue residue from the label is still noticeable.
95% found it easy to clean, yet 5% struggled
To remove the muck from the crannies, soaking and scrubbing is suggested.
It is difficult to clean the inside corners of the box and the design does not make it easy.
87% appreciated the leak-proof design, but 13% experienced leaks
When I buy berries at the farmers market, I no longer have to throw away packaging.
The lid of the container is not snapping on and staying on, which is a problem for me as I do not want to turn it over in the fridge by mistake and have the contents fall out.
After using the container for a few weeks and running it through the dishwasher a few times, I still notice residual glue from the label.
83% praised the high-quality material, but 17% didn't
The dish seems to be of good quality.
The berry bowl with a cover that has a dribble area is lovely and practical.
The material quality feels cheap, but it is functional.
Two of the containers have lids that do not close tightly no matter how I try.
71% praised the odor-resistant feature, but 29% noticed lingering smells
I have to grab the container slowly by the base before taking it out of the fridge, otherwise I will have blueberries all over the floor.
Despite using the container, my berries got moldy, indicating that it may not be effective in preventing odor and spoilage.
93% were satisfied with the space saving design
The container can hold one container of strawberries or 2 containers of blueberries and is of great size.
I found a container of pricey blueberries conveniently located next to expensive berries in the grocery store. It held two big containers of perfectly fresh blueberries for a week.
The berry box can hold 2 small containers of blueberries.
87% liked the temperature resistance, while 13% noticed some warping
This product solves the problem of wasted packaging when buying berries at the farmers market.
After using the containers for a few weeks and running them through the dishwasher a few times, I noticed that the residual glue from the label is still noticeable.
The residual glue from the label is still noticeable even after using the containers for a few weeks and running them through the dishwasher.
91% appreciated the versatile usage, while 9% found it specialized
Berries need air circulation to stay fresh.
I use the container for storing small salads and plain fruits and vegetables.
The top of the container does not stay on tightly, causing it to squirt out of my hand if I hold it with one hand.
The container is not airtight as water gets inside even after running it under hot water.
