About Star Right Blank Flash Cards for Studying - 2" x 3" Blank Index Notecards
Overall Feedback:
88% positive
88% praised the variety of colors, whereas 12% found the colors dull
The cards have 5 unique colors, are perfectly cut-to-size, and have a hole for ring binding. They look impressive.
The second time I purchased index cards, they were dull, less durable, and sharpies bled through to the other side while felt tips smeared.
87% appreciated the durable cards, yet 13% found they wore out
The second time I purchased them, they were dull and less durable. I faced issues with sharpies bleeding through to the other side and felt tips smearing.
87% liked the ink compatibility, but 13% encountered issues
I am not sure how gel ink would work on the flashcards, but I have no issues with smearing as I use ballpoint.
The index cards have a glossy finish and a film on them which does not absorb the moisture of ink, leaving my notes susceptible to smudges.
The ink smears terribly and pencil doesn't show up well on the card. Even after 15 minutes, accidental finger swipe or placing it against another card can still transfer the ink.
My flash cards were rendered useless due to the ink smudging badly.
Index cards don't absorb regular ink pen and pencil won't work on them. You need Sharpie or other magic marker to actually get stuff to stay.
The cards are glossy and many markers/pens won't write on them.
Glossy paper is difficult to write on as most pens only write 1-2 letters before the ink stops.
65% liked the consistent line spacing, but 35% encountered issues
I had to write really small because I did not notice that the index cards were only 2x3 inches.
84% praised the high-quality paper, whereas 16% found it thin
The cards are glossy and harder than normal notecards.
The paper quality is poor as the markers and sharpies smear and come off.
The flash cards are very small and not sturdy or durable.
82% appreciated the size variety, however 18% didn't
I was surprised by the size of the index cards, but after measuring them, I realized that they were actually 2 x 3 inches. They seem really tiny to me.
I would have preferred the index cards to be a bit larger, but it's not a deal-breaker.
For flash cards and studying, I need larger index cards as the ones available are too small. I couldn't find any that were 3x5 or 4x6.
The size of the index-cards is misleading and not as per my expectation.
The size of the index-cards is smaller than an average business card.
I regret not reading the description closely as the cards are tiny.
I wish the index cards were bigger.
83% found them versatile
I can create sets of flashcards using jump rings with different sizes and colors of cards to easily differentiate between the cards (verbs, nouns, adjectives, relationals, etc).
I love the durability of these index cards. I used them to create sight words games for my daughter.
