These are a strange shape bulb, and I got them for my den ceiling fans, and they fit, but they stick out a bit, so I wasn't sure if I would like them or not.
These light bulbs look great and I recommend you to buy the light bulbs with them, it gives the room a warm feeling.
I am happy with the purchase, even though 6 bulbs only cost me $24 at my local hardware store, and one lightbulb only cost $10 at my local hardware store.
I am happy with them, but they are not for people who want a 40 watt illumination or a cool running bulb.
The wall mounted light fixture I purchased for my living room has these vintage bulbs in it. I can't wait to see how it looks when the lights are put up.
Question & Answers
Is the bulb base the same as E26 and E27.
The base is E26 and the bulb style is ST-18.
One pic shows a gold base with two silver mesh surrounding metal pieces, the other shows a cheaper looking gold base. Which one is it?
You won't see the base once it's in the sockets.
Why do the bulbs stay on low?
I have two lights over the two sinks, but they are on low even with the switch in the off position.
Is it possible to change my led ceiling lights with a professional?
It's not very easy to install, the bulbs give off a yellow glow.
Is it possible to use these bulbs in an unvented globe fixture?
I think they like the look of a regular lightbulb.
