I found the app easy to use with intuitive features. There are 4 programs for my zones on the app, but one has a lot of flexibility in how to use them. Plus, I can always manually water a zone if I get the urge. However, I have not found a way to get the timer to run through all zones in a manual mode. The programs will run through each zone as the previous one ends, though.
The setup of the smart system is done circuit by circuit and requires inputs for plant characterization, sunshine, slope, soil, and sprinkler system. Initially, it seemed like there was no direct way to adjust the water quantity, but there is. The Application Rate input in Smart Watering Details can be reduced to lengthen watering time and vice versa. The efficiency slider in Schedule Adjustments can also adjust the run time. Another input in Schedule Adjustments controls how often watering occurs without changing the total amount of water per week or month.
