About Mueller Austria Hand Blender Smart Stick 800W 12 Speed and Turbo Mode
Overall Feedback:
75% positive
71% appreciated the variable speed control, but 29% found it unreliable
I only use speed settings 1, 6, or 12 on the immersion blender as the difference between the other levels is imperceptibly small.
I wanted an immersion blender with more speed options to prevent liquids from spraying all over the kitchen.
68% praised the included attachments, but 32% found them unnecessary
I love the attachments that came with the immersion blender, which enable me to turn one tool into three.
The whisk is too flimsy for anything other than whipping cream or egg whites, not suitable for mixing cake batter.
I falsely assumed that the attachment from my other blender by this same brand can be used with this immersion blender. However, it does not attach to this one as it uses a different mechanism and it does not come with a milk frother. Additionally, it is not available as a separate accessory.
I found it difficult to remove the attachments, hence the 4 stars.
62% liked the stainless steel blades, though 38% found them prone to rust
The bell-shaped blade is used to cut and mix smoothie or protein drinks, milkshakes, pancake batter, etc.
The blades are made of titanium unlike the lower end model which has all stainless steel.
The food processor attachment was not effective after the first use as the insert for the blades in the container was stripped immediately and was not effectively chopping.
I noticed that the metal housing of the immersion blender is rough and not smooth or rounded edged, which makes it difficult to slide it around in what you are pureeing. The company could easily correct this issue by changing the mold on the blade housing for future production.

69% found it easy to clean, while 31% struggled with stuck-on food
All the parts fit together easily and seamlessly and are easily cleaned to look and smell like new.
The immersion blender is fairly easy to clean except for the blade attachment.
70% appreciated the long cord
I decided to buy a corded immersion blender instead of a rechargeable cordless one for the power it provides.
68% found it comfortable to hold, though 32% experienced fatigue
The immersion blender works with a light touch, unlike some other models that require a death grip to operate.
A fitted container or stand would be a good improvement for the immersion blender.
The immersion-blender requires a good bit of strength to operate and does not have an on/off switch, making it difficult for those with weak hands to use.
The motor and chopper were not properly locked, causing damage to the head as the gear teeth of the chopper ground against the gear.
65% praised its powerful motor, while 35% found it struggled with thick mixtures
I found two fractures on the body of the motor where the power cable meets, which could be a danger and an electric hazard due to direct water access.
68% appreciated the quiet operation, while 32% found it too loud
At its lowest speed setting, the immersion blender turns too fast to whisk safely.
67% liked the compact storage design, but 33% found it bulky
I suggest adding a fitted container or stand for the immersion blender to improve its convenience, as the components need to dry after use despite coming well-packed in a corrugated box.
The box is poorly designed with no clear compartmentalization, making it difficult for me to store all the parts back in the box and they end up rattling all over the drawer.
I used the immersion blender with multiple speeds and a turbo setting. I kept it on medium speed and didn't need to change it.
