I am concerned about the plastic parts that cover the metal prongs on the blender wand and in the processor housing. One disappeared from the processor attachment and I found it stuck inside the base unit. I worry about what would happen if it had fallen on the floor without me knowing, and my cat had tried to swallow it. Or what would happen if I had a child who tried to eat it. It is not very large, but that is exactly what makes pieces like that hazardous.
The motor is extremely powerful and can be a bit messy.
