Overall Feedback:
81% positive
77% appreciated the variable speed control, but 23% found it unreliable
I bought this immersion blender for its variable speed option and found that the lowest speed is still a bit aggressive, but it is a significant improvement.
I am disappointed with the adjustable speed of immersion-blenders. The dial on the device is essentially useless since there is such a small difference between the lowest and highest settings.
77% praised the included attachments, but 23% found them unnecessary
I did not expect to use all the attachments, but I have already used the whisk for eggs as well.
The blender has many features found on pricier models, including variable speeds, turbo speed, silicone scratch guard, and whisk and milk-frother accessories.
The whisk attachment fell apart because the shaft was pressed into the plastic without any grooves to hold it in place.
I have noticed that the attachments fall off easily, making it difficult to use them. I have to hold the whole thing against the bottom of the container to prevent the attachment from falling off the main unit.
74% liked the stainless steel blades, though 26% found them prone to rust
I would prefer a different blade design with 4 sturdy blades instead of the 2 thin ones currently present.
Despite having a powerful motor, I am having trouble blending soups and gravies with the immersion blender. The blades are not functioning properly.
I was not aware of the details for attaching the end and nearly injured myself when the still-spinning blades fell off mid-use.
82% found it easy to clean
I love that it's easy to clean and I don't have to whisk or use a big food processor or blender to mix.
The immersion blender is easy to clean and use. It eliminates the mess of ladling soup or sauce into a blender.
77% found it comfortable to hold, though 23% experienced fatigue
The immersion blender is small and compact, making it easy to store.
The lowest speed is still a bit aggressive, but it's a significant improvement.
The mixer looks great but it is wobbly and the wire is soft.
I have complained that the whisk attachment falls off when the machine is inverted, so I have to hold the whole thing against the bottom of the container to prevent it from falling off.
74% praised its powerful motor, while 26% found it struggled with thick mixtures
The motor and stainless steel parts of the immersion blender are well built.
I bought this immersion blender based on reviews stating its power, but despite using it multiple times for soups and gravies with only tender vegetables, it only swirls things around without blending.
The blender tips do not stay securely on the motor.
I nearly injured myself when the still-spinning blades fell off mid-use because I was not aware of the details for attaching the end.
I bought this immersion blender for its variable speed option and found that the lowest speed is still a bit aggressive, but it is a significant improvement.
After frequent use of the immersion blender, one of the buttons would no longer function.
