The appliance makes 9 hollow ice bullets in two sizes within 6-10 minutes. The initial batches are thin, but they become thicker and faster as the source water cools.
When I first start the ice maker, the ice cube is smaller, but after powering it on for more than 30 minutes, it gets to the correct size.
After waiting the recommended 1 hour for the fluids to settle and washing it out, I plugged it in.
I had ice in 5 minutes.

The appliance has an infrared sensor to stop ice making when the tray is too full and unused ice cubes are reused for the next batches.
I have used both types of sensors and can confirm that the infrared sensor is much nicer than the metal sensor.
