These ice cube molds are worth it because they are actually 2Tb in size, and I think they are the only ones that make that size.
For making individual cubes of herbed butter, pesto, tomato sauce, etc., I suggest using the 1-2 Tbsp ice cube size.
I have cup and half-cup cube trays, but these 2 tablespoon size cubes are great for recipes that call for just one or two tablespoon quantities.
