About Woodronic Handmade Cigar Humidor with 72% Boveda Packets and Digital Hygienemeter
Overall Feedback:
83% positive
76% liked the cigar capacity
I have 18 cigars in it and it holds right around 72-75% RH and hovers between 65-70 degrees Fahrenheit.
72% liked the sleek design
The humidor has a beautifully crafted full glass top that perfectly displays the best of my collection.
69% appreciated the ease of maintenance, though 31% didn't
I have noticed that the humidor may not retain humidity well, but with proper care and seasoning, it can still do a decent job.
I had to season the humidor twice in 4 months because it was not able to maintain the humidity level.
72% praised the humidity control, while 28% experienced issues
I am using 75% packs but the unit is holding nicely around 65-68%.
After the first month or two, I noticed that the humidor couldn't hold humidity above 60.
81% praised the accurate hygrometer readings
The hygrometer is accurate and the humidifier is holding humidity really well.
The digital hygrometer that comes with it is pretty close to the mech hygrometer.
I suggest calibrating and adjusting the digital hygrometer. It's best to have a separate hygrometer for calibration, then place the calibrated one in the box to stabilize before adjusting the digital hygrometer that comes with the humidor.
65% found the closure airtight, but 35% experienced leakage
The top door of the humidor closes seamlessly and completely seals the cigars inside, preventing any loss of humidity.
The humidor closes tightly to maintain the desired humidity level with boveda packs.
I tried sealing the glass and wood contact surfaces with silicone calk because the hygrometer was off by a lot.
I could smell glue in the humidor and took a specific route to deal with it.
70% appreciated the wood construction, though 30% didn't
The wood quality of the humidor is nice and I plan to pass it down to my son in 20 years.
The glass-top wood humidor requires more care and takes several years to be self-sufficient and properly seasoned, but it does a decent job at retaining humidity.
I can hold up to 150 cigars in this humidor, and it is very well made.
