About VIVOSUN 4 inch Inline Duct Fan
74% appreciated the adjustable settings, but 26% found them confusing
The product is extremely adjustable with a long ramp up to high speed when attached to a speed controller and is very quiet.
We have a variable speed to control seasonal or heavy humidity use and this setup works perfectly. It is also no louder than the original setup.
The fan control is manual and adjusted via the same power strip that supplies the A/C unit.
I was able to control the noise level and the exhaust fan worked perfectly.

80% liked its powerful airflow, but 20% found it insufficient
I have compared the airflow capacity of this fan to another one I have used and found that it is not even 5% as powerful.
The fan's air movement is not as per the 240 CFM worth of air movement. I expected higher air flow for the 40 Watts it is pulling.
The fans are weak and can only pull open the dampers less than 5 degrees, indicating a very low airflow capacity.
81% praised its long-lasting durability, but 19% experienced premature failure
I am going to run the fan 24/7 and hope it has good durability. I will update again if it fails.
84% found it easy to install
Installing the system in my crawl space was easy and fast, drawing out moisture and damp smell.
The installation of the product is super easy and takes less than 45 minutes if I am handy. It may take longer if the space is tight or confined.
77% liked the easy-to-clean design, but 23% found it difficult to maintain
I use a fan to draw dust and fumes from woodworking or painting in my shop and vent it outside through a common furnace filter.
The fan works great at removing odors and excessive heat from the tents, which keeps my plants happy and growing.
I found that the product does not work with carbon filter or DIY filter.
76% appreciated the mounting options, but 24% found them limited
It is important to install the fan as close to the blower as possible, ideally right off the trunk line.
The cord to plug in the fan is somewhat short and may require an extension cord unless it is placed on the ground.
76% liked how quiet it operated, but 24% found it too loud
The sound level is good.
The fan is not very noisy with only a slight increase in noise.
The fan noise level is terrible and sounds like I am mowing the lawn next door.
I find the fan very loud and annoying, which makes me not want to run it. Despite moving a reasonable amount of air, the noise level is a major issue.

66% were satisfied with its safety features, but 34% found them lacking
I know that fans are known to catch fire and insurance won't cover them.
