About KAZE APPLIANCE SNP100 | 100 CFM | 0.8 Sone | No Attic Access Required Bathroom Ventilation Exhaust Extractor Fan
91% appreciated the adjustable settings
I use a wall switch humidity sensor to control the fan. For the first week, I had to turn off the shower to make sure it was running because it is so quiet.
91% liked its powerful airflow
I noticed a significant improvement in the air quality of my 500 sqft craw space.
88% praised its long-lasting durability, but 12% experienced premature failure
I did not mention anything specific about the durability of the product. The product's durability was not mentioned.
I deducted one star because the damper is poorly designed and will likely fail.
I installed this fan because the old one caused moisture buildup, leading to drywall ceiling repairs.
87% found it easy to install
The installation was very easy and the noise level is unnoticeable when running.
If you have access from the attic and your rafters are in the correct positions, replacement installation is easier.
Installing the fan was very easy and it runs quietly.
83% appreciated the mounting options, but 17% found them limited
There are two mounting options for this fan. The first option is on the side for new construction and it can be easily bent flush for retrofit mounting using ceiling level mounting screws.
I suggest adding a block of wood or something to support the fourth side of the unit near the duct as it is only supported by brackets on three sides.
During installation, I found that the plastic outlet fitting on the fan housing was only about a half inch above the metal flange used to screw the unit up to the ceiling, which made it difficult to mount flush to the surface of the drywall.
89% liked how quiet it operated, but 11% found it too loud
The fan has just the right sound level - loud enough to know it's running, but not noisy at all. After installation, it does get a little louder.
When I run the fan, I don't notice any noise.
My wife was very pleased with the low noise level of the unit.
I bought the fan because of the whisper quiet advertising, but it turned out to be louder than my old fan. It's so loud that I can hear it on the main level.
81% were satisfied with its safety features, but 19% found them lacking
I am frustrated with the humidity sensor and/or timer not working. This is the most annoying part of the product.
I am concerned about the safety of the damper as it is poorly designed and likely to fail.
