I own this tower fan and it is one of the quietest I have ever used. As a light sleeper, the noise never disturbs me.

I noticed that the fan has different modes of airflow. One mode does small bursts of more forceful air, and then quiets back down. This mode is perfect while oscillating so that I am not constantly being hit with a forceful wind.
I love the 3 wind modes and the sleeping mode of the fan, which significantly reduces the noise.
