About EBL Smart Rapid Battery Charger
91% liked the high quality build, but 9% found it weak
The product is not fancy and lacks bells and whistles. It also doesn't seem sturdy.
I suggest a minor improvement to increase the size of the spring-loaded cathode for easier handling when placing or extracting a battery.
The charger stopped functioning the day after I posted the review, indicating poor build quality.
The build quality of the charger is not as good as my 12 year old one that I had to replace.

96% praised for its fast charging speed, but 4% found it slow
We have a unit with a quick-charge feature that speeds up the charging process.
It is good for slow charging of 18650, but I am not sure about NiMH. It took extremely long to charge my very old AAA and AA no-mem Lenmar batteries and the voltage was reaching too high, but it did charge them without making them too hot like the original 1hr charger.
I have noticed that the charger stops the batteries at about 4.1 to 4.12, which is not a full charge. The charger does not fully charge the batteries, stopping at around 4.1 to 4.12.
94% appreciated its compatibility with multiple devices, although 6% found it incompatible with certain brands
The charger is compatible with various lithium ion, NiMH, and NiCd batteries, including AAA, AA, and C size cells, but not D.
The charger has a stable 110v, 2-pole connector that is not prone to breaking.
I prefer the other white EBL Charger because it uses a spring to hold the batteries and the status light turns green when charging is complete, while this charger stays red all the time.
96% found it easy to operate
I found a way to make it easy to remove and put in batteries by putting a piece of tape on each of the batteries with a flap and manually pulling the stop tab.
The charger has an easy to read LED system to show the battery's current level.
81% liked the built-in safety features
I noticed that the charger detected a bad cell and flashed a warning light after a couple of minutes. The charger flashed a warning light after detecting a bad cell in a couple of minutes.
I hot glued a velcro-type cable tie around the battery area and the charger body to keep the batteries in place when dropped. The charger is durable and continues to charge even when dropped.
