About EBL 4 Bay 9V Lithium ion Battery Charger
Overall Feedback:
88% positive
82% liked the high quality build, but 18% found it weak
My TENS 7000 unit tends to eat batteries if non-rechargeable batteries are used, but the product is working well for me.
I have noticed that the charger is a safety hazard due to its bad build quality.
Good quality single use 9v batteries can be expensive.
81% praised for its fast charging speed, but 19% found it slow
The drain is minimal at around .01 V DC per day.
I left the batteries on the charger for over 12 hours and noticed that the voltage of each battery read 8.6V, indicating slow charging speed.

I left the batteries on the charger for over 12 hours and the voltage of each battery read 8.6V, indicating slow charging speed.
After each battery lost its charge, I put them in the charger together and they only charged to 8.5 volts.
85% appreciated its compatibility with multiple devices, although 15% found it incompatible with certain brands
The charger only supports 9V li-ion batteries. It would be better if it could support 9V nimh nicd.
The charger uses a Micro-b USB with no adapter, which is not compatible with many modern devices. I have a ton of USB-C cables but very few micro-b cables.
The user manual describes a major limitation of the product - you cannot mix uncharged and charged batteries on the charger without overcharging them.
88% found it easy to operate
The USB powered charging base has bright indicator lights to show when batteries are charged up.
73% liked the built-in safety features, while 27% experienced issues with faulty charging
I use the batteries for various applications around the house like smoke detectors, musical instruments, a TENS machine, etc. and have been quite pleased with the results.
After swapping batteries, I am confident that a power outage will not trap me again.
The charger can cause a safety hazard and shorten the life of lithium batteries.
I have complained that the charger's build quality is poor and it is a safety hazard.
