I need to mention that the top of the barrel should be long enough to hold without burning my fingers. However, my fingers constantly slip off, resulting in scalding.

The barrel on this brush is smaller and it doesn't perform as well as the revlon and hot tools blowout brushes. However, it is a good blow out brush for the price and worked well while traveling.
