The bristles are flexible with both ball tip and regular bristles.
The hot-air-brush is designed with nylon pins and tufted bristles to eliminate tilting and can easily detangle my hair for voluminous, natural-looking hair and create volume.
I like the hot-air-brush because the bristles around each pin are not intimidating for my medium-thin hair type. The brush was easy to use and didn't snag or snarl, even with my inexperience. The bristles also seem easier to clean since they are not overly clustered.
I appreciate the bristle material of the hot-air-brush, especially the protected ends that prevent any harm while brushing against my hair.
