I have only used the hose for a few weeks, so I cannot speak about the durability. However, the hose is made very well and of very good quality, so I am hopeful that it will last a long time.
I have watched many a chicken go head to head with this hose and have yet to see any leaks, tears, or abrasions. The durability of the hose is highly impressive.
I find the material used in the hose to be very durable and made to withstand the elements.
The hose has a new dense and rugged fabric named 3750D which effectively protects the inner tube.

I appreciate the brass fittings at each end of the hose, which eliminates the problem of cracking or breaking of plastic fittings.

The hose has great water pressure and is easy to maneuver around the yard.
Having extra length prevents excess pressure on the hose connectors.
When I stretched the hose to reach 100 feet, I lost a lot of water pressure.
