A word of advice for maintaining the accuracy of hose-timers: Install it where the sun won't shine directly on it and in an area covered from rain. My previous Orbit timer only lasted a year or two because it was exposed to the sun, but my current one has been flawless for over 4 years with batteries lasting over 2 years.
