I have compared these hook-loop-strips with velcro and found them to be superior in terms of adhesive strength. Unlike velcro, the fuzzy side doesn't wear off and the hooks side doesn't weaken over time. Both sides of these strips are the same, so there's no need to match them up. Plus, they're more robust and less likely to lose strength over time.
