About JHK Leather Office Chair with Flip Up Arms
Overall Feedback:
70% positive
82% were satisfied with the armrest adjustability
I love the armrest adjustability of the chair as it helped me to raise the armrests up due to the awkward height of my desk at work.
I love the flip-up armrests.
78% highlighted the assembly and maintenance, but 22% were dissatisfied
Assembling the chair was supposed to take 20 minutes, but it took me almost an hour despite the clear and easy-to-follow instructions.
I had to cut the chair carefully to assemble it properly.
Assembling the chair was difficult, and it would have been helpful to have at least two experienced people. The instructions were confusing, and the screws were hard to see in deep recesses, making it difficult to line up and screw in. Holding pieces in alignment was also a challenge, and it was one of the hardest items I have worked on, despite having assembled lots of furniture.
I faced issues with the screws while assembling the chair and had to visit the hardware store twice to find the right screws.
I think an ergonomic chair would be a better option than this chair.
The chair is not ergonomic and lacks lumbar support. The back feels like it caves in.
The chair matches the office decor and is comfortable, but lacks back support and ergonomics.
75% liked the recline functionality, but 25% didn't
The chair has adjustable features like raising and lowering height, reclining, and locking upright.
My favorite feature of the chair is the fold-up arms, which allows me to fit the chair into the desk and get back at least a foot of walking room in my tight space home office.
I can provide instructions on how to loosen the tilt on the back of the chair.
The chair is nice, but it should recline further back for relaxation.
The chair rocks somewhat and requires force to make it rock even with the tilt adjuster all the way loosened. I can only sit straight up in it and cannot lock it to a more reclined position.
The chair's back caves in and there is no lumbar support.
The chair has two distinct modes for the armrests, adding to its versatility. When the armrests are up, I can sit more freely, cross my legs, or conveniently stow the chair under my desk when not in use. On the other hand, when the armrests are down, I can rest my arms on the soft, padded armrests, providing additional support and comfort during focused activities.
