When I use the bar for squats, I find it uncomfortable as it doesn't sit easily across my shoulders. The bar could be wider.

I find bands easier than traditional weights because of the variable resistance aspect. For instance, a band with an estimated weight of 60 lbs may only be 30 lbs at the start and reach 60 lbs only during the last 10% of the lift, when I am strongest.
