About Roland FP-10 88-key Entry Level Digital Keyboard
88% liked the seamless app integration
I found a free app with drills and self-teach tutorials that my kids enjoyed using.
If I connect the piano to an iPad, I can use Roland's app to set it up and configure it with a better user interface.

The keyboard has Bluetooth connectivity, allowing me to connect to the Roland Piano Partner 2 app for easier adjustments than using the controls on the piano.

89% praised the sleek and compact design, while 11% didn't
I like the minimalist design of the piano and the matte finish on the keys.
The key covering on this keyboard is really nice to the touch, much better than plastic coverings on other keyboards and even on concert pianos.
The keys feel identical to a real piano and are heavy.
The new keyboard has more features than the old one, except for the design. It has a more formal look than the old one.

91% appreciated the key action, though 9% found them light
The key action has enough realistic weight and resistance to develop strength and dexterity, making it easy to transition to a real piano.
The hammer action keys feel like a real piano with a softer texture.
The 'action feel' is not exactly like on a real piano, but it has enough realistic weight and resistance to develop my strength and dexterity, so the transition to a real piano will only need small adaptations.
The keys have a hammer action and feel like a real piano with a softer texture.

82% were satisfied with the portable design
I can carry this device around easily and it can fit into spaces where a true piano is not practical, making it a portable option for home-digital-pianos.
I can practice using headphones with this electric keyboard and connect it to a Bluetooth speaker, making it portable and convenient.
This product is an excellent choice for students or musicians who want something smaller, cheaper than a real piano, with MIDI out and don't require precise volume control.
The piano is portable as it is light enough for a single person to carry.
83% praised the sound quality, while 17% desired more
I enjoyed watching my daughter improvise on the digital piano with its high-quality sound and various options, including the jazz and church organ sounds.
The piano sound is amazing and very realistic even out of its internal speaker.
I found the Roland digital piano fun to improvise on because of its sound quality and variety of sounds, including jazz and church organ.
The speakers are okay, but they don't fully showcase the sound quality produced by our system.

84% found the pedal functionality useful, but 16% thought it was sensitive
The digital piano comes with a foot pedal.
I am disappointed with the included pedal as it slides like plastic once the rubber sheet catches dust. I recommend investing in a DP-10 as the continuous sustain is way more expressive than a switched sustain.
I purchased an external pedal because the one that came with the piano did not feel like a real one.
I recommend getting a better quality sustain pedal as the provided pedal switch is too light and slides away under the foot.
