About Casio Privia PX-770 Digital Piano
Overall Feedback:
76% positive
76% praised the sleek and compact design, while 24% didn't
I love the cover of the keys that keeps them from getting dusty.
The piano looks great in the corner of my living room with its brown wood cabinet. The ebony and ivory keys feel and look very similar to a real piano.
The sliding keyboard cover is a plus and far nicer than the need for a 'skirt' with most other pianos in this range or any stage type pianos.
One of the pieces holding the legs together came broken, indicating a design flaw.
My only complaint is that the instructions are not great.
82% appreciated the key action, though 18% found them light
I love this keyboard! The key action is so realistic to a real upright. It has a lot of bounce and the right reverb that builds up if I keep hitting the keys. The action is also different for low, middle, and high keys, which is something I haven't experienced before.
The piano keys are uneven, not working properly, sustaining without peddles, and clicking and stuck.
80% praised the sound quality
The sound quality of the piano is perfect and it sounds just like the piano I grew up playing every day.
The sound quality is very good and the overall quality is great for the price.
The piano sounds exactly like a real piano, with no difference.
The piano has a great sound and feel, and looks stylish. The volume adjustment and headphone capability make it perfect for apartment living.
74% liked the seamless app integration
The keyboard has a cool sound and touch.
74% appreciated the connectivity options
I did not mention anything about the connectivity options of my home-digital-piano.
76% found the pedal functionality useful, but 24% thought it was sensitive
I noticed that the piano has a lot of bounce and the right reverb builds if you keep hitting the keys.
I did not mention anything specific about the pedal functionality of my home-digital-piano.
My piano keys are stuck and not working.
I still have to fix the midi thing so that I can record, indicating that the pedal functionality of my home-digital-piano is not working as expected.
81% were satisfied with the portable design
I didn't have space for a real piano and had other basic electric pianos. I'm glad I found the Casio PX-770.
The layout of controls is great with useful EQ and sliders, and a 'piano design' function for tweaking if needed.
