I have personally experienced the difference in handling with the oil-filled shocks upgrade in my car.
I have made some modifications to my car since purchase, including replacing the shocks, servo, and tires. I found that the shocks were only lightly oiled and not exactly filled, but after cleaning and filling them with 35w shock oil, my car runs much smoother and handles the bumps much better.
