I found that the remote has two trim options, steering trim and throttle trim. I mostly left the throttle trim all the way up to get maximum acceleration.

I've found that the advertised 20 minute runtime per battery is accurate when pushing the car at max speed. Running it slower than max extends the play time even longer. With two batteries included, I can swap them out for continuous play.
