I found that the remote control cars have two self-charged batteries that last a long time.
The battery life is limited and I have to recharge it after just a few minutes.
As soon as I put the batteries on the charger, I smelled burning/melting.

The battery life is pretty short and it's difficult to charge and place in the car. It's also hard to remove and replace, and I had a bit of trouble getting it in and out. Additionally, where the battery sits in the car is behind a latch and a screw, which has to be unscrewed and rescrewed every time the battery is involved. These issues make this car less enjoyable after playtime.
