If you are going to drill holes in metal to tap you will need many of the sizes in this set, it is difficult to find a complete set with all of the sizes.
I got the Carry case for my son and I liked it so much I got some for myself.
These are the best gloves you can buy for your hands, and they come with a spring loaded, bit holder and a case/hinged box to keep them safe while you are out and about.
I found this set of drill bits, which are very durable, and a good value for the money, even for those looking for a good set of drill bits.
I use these bits for my Craftsman drill and they hold up well. They are a great buy for the price and give me the ability to choose the correct bit for the job.
Question & Answers
What kind of material do they carry?
They should be able to drill wood, plastic and metal, but I used the smaller sizes 3 out of 4 times and broke the wood.
Are the drill bits welded together or are they just one piece?
I have seen only one piece of this style of bit, and it seems Dewalt stopped making them.
Will they work with the chuck of an Impact Driver?
Yes, they will work with a chuck of that size.
Is it possible to use this with a electric drill?
The only issue I had was the hex shank being compressed on with the small bits and twisted off with use.
Is the "quick change" bits the same concept as the ryobi speed load bits?
I'm pretty sure the brand called their SpeedLoad+ is what these are, quick change bits that make it easy to change from bit to bit while on the job.
