About Swingline Heavy Duty Stapler, 120 Sheet Capacity
Overall Feedback:
68% positive
81% liked the adjustable staple length, while 19% found it limited
The stapler has adjustable staple length, but it leaves big bulges on the back with the pointed staple ends sticking out of the front of shorter reports.
65% appreciated its durable construction, but 35% found it broke easily
I have used the stapler to staple 6 or 7 200 sheet ebooks and it jammed only two or three times, which happened when I first started to use it.
The stapler frequently jams and is difficult to fix once jammed.
I complained that the metal plate bending the staples is made of cheap metal, causing the staples to push out the bottom and rendering the stapler useless.
If the crimper was replaceable or made out of a stronger metal, I would have given the product 5 stars and avoided buying new staplers multiple times a year.
68% praised for its jam-resistant design, but 32% experienced frequent jams
The Swingline stapler is great and does not jam, unlike the more expensive Bostitch stapler which cannot even perform basic functions like stapling without jamming.
I have noticed that the stapler frequently jams and is difficult to fix once jammed.
Initially, the stapler worked well but later it started jamming and throwing out multiple staples at a time.
70% appreciated its versatility in staple types
I can use several different sizes of staples with the stapler, and it is easy to depress the handle even for the longest staples.
I have not experienced any issues with this model except when the wrong staple is used.
70% praised for its high stapling capacity, while 30% found it jammed frequently
The Swingline stapler is great with smooth stapling and no jams. Compared to the more expensive Bostitch, it outperforms.
After several months of use, the metal plate opposing the staples cracked in half.
The stapler has adjustable staple length, but it leaves big bulges on the back with the pointed staple ends sticking out of the front of shorter reports.
I have only used the stapler a couple of times and am not sure about its longevity. However, I expect it to perform well for a long time since it feels solid.
I tossed the product aside in frustration, indicating that it may not be durable enough.
