When I tested the heatsinks at 12v, they failed causing extreme heat buildup and the cold side to fade. I was not impressed with their build quality.

I tested the heatsinks at 12v and 5v and found that at 12v, there was an extreme heat build-up causing the cold side to fade. However, at 5v, the results were far better, with much colder temperatures and less heat generated. One 40x40 heat sink and a 40x40 fan kept the heat to a minimum and produced the required cold.
