72% praised for its solid build quality
Installing the heatsink was easy the second time around.

On my ROG Ally, the heatsink sits right where the vents are, keeping my SSD temperature between 40-50C.
77% praised for its excellent cooling performance
The cooling performance of the heatsink is decent.

84% appreciated the advanced fan control features
I am using a tablet with a monoblock and jsaux backplate mod. The cooper plate was slightly out of line but a quick small bend helped to align it perfectly with my SSD. Using this with other thermal mods has helped dissipate a ton of heat off the steam decks internals.
Installation was easy with sufficient clearance.
79% appreciated the easy installation process, while 21% encountered difficulties
I found the installation of the heatsink and removal of the ESD shield to be easy and hassle-free.
I left the heatsink on and installed the 2TB drive in the Ally and it still works great. The drive is even cooler in the Ally.
I was disappointed with the installation process. It was difficult to remove the back plate with the bar and chip, and the screws for the black plate came out with ease. Additionally, the seller failed to notice there were two different screw sizes in the decks screw choices and only provided one screwdriver, which made it impossible for me to complete the installation.
