About VEVOR Heat Press, 12x10in Heat Press Machine
Overall Feedback:
65% positive
67% found it easy to use, but 33% found it challenging
I found that the product lacks instructions for ease of use.
After only two uses, the screws securing the top platen melted.
Setting the temperature is the only positive aspect of the product.
I have noticed that the heat press machine lacks a hat attachment, making alignment more difficult.
Rephrased: The heat press machine lacks a hat attachment, making alignment more difficult.
I suggest making the top of the machine lighter or increasing the size of the base.
66% appreciated the overheat protection, but 34% didn't
I noticed that the soft orange rubber under the protective cover had started to bubble, smoke, and likely would have eventually caught fire. This indicates that the heat press machine may not have proper overheat protection.

65% highlighed the print quality, but 35% were dissatisfied
I am frustrated because I was using this machine to start my own business, but I cannot trust the quality of my customers' products as I cannot keep the transfers the same day to day. (Note: The sentence cannot be made concise without losing important information.)
The heat press machine worked fine for 10 times, but then it kept heating up and turning off repeatedly.
62% were satisfied with the temperature control, but 38% weren't
I have experienced the machine overshooting the temperature and burning my shirts. Additionally, I am unable to press sublimation transfer at high temperature.
I faced an issue with the temperature control of the heat press machine. I set the temperature to 275 as per the adhesive, but the patch did not stick. I used a cooking probe to check the temperature between the heating and base plate and found that it only got up to 235 degrees. I increased the temperature on the press to 315-320 and at that temperature the adhesive started to set.
67% liked the versatility, while 33% didn't
The base of the heat-press-machine has a plastic piece that cannot withstand the force of opening and closing the unit.
I may invest in a different press just for hats due to the issues I faced while using the heat press machine for hats.
After only two uses, the screws that secure the top platen melted.
I found that the product design makes it difficult to work with T-shirts and other items. I have used all the functions except for the hat/cap.
The heat press machine can become dangerous if I trust it to move to the side without thinking as it does not have weight balance. The top needs to be made lighter or the base needs to be bigger.
If you're just starting out, get a heat press instead of an easy press for better control over heat and pressure. The cost difference isn't significant.
I have noticed that the sides of the platen are 20+ degrees cooler than the center.
