I have not faced any overheating issue yet while using the heat press machine. I only use it occasionally and have not faced any problem so far.

I found the heat press machine great for affixing a heat transfer vinyl logo of about 2 inches by 2 inches on a small keychain plushie for an event. The ergonomic handle made it easy to hold the press in place.
