I used an IR temperature gun to measure the platen temps versus the controller settings. The temperature was consistent throughout the platen and within 10°F of setpoint.

I faced a problem with the heat press losing heat in the middle of pressing a large order of shirts. I tried turning it off and back on but it never regained heat. After leaving it off for a whole day and turning it back on, it worked for one press but then lost heat again and has not regained it since.
