I have noticed that the machine does not heat up every third time I turn it on. The blue/white lights flash alternatively and I have to unplug and plug it back in to make it work.
On the middle heat setting, my iron overheated and burnt my project.

I have noticed that the heat is more consistent over the iron surface than the big iron which may have hotter cooler spots.
I believe the machine stopped working after a short time, and it shouldn't have overheated or been overused.
