I have experienced a shorter lifespan with these batteries compared to my previous ones, which is disappointing.
I am not using generic batteries anymore because I am not sure if their dimensions are off or if there is something wrong with their voltage.

I found that the Costco store brand batteries last for a consistent 4 days per set.
I have been using Costco or Amazon brand batteries and have to replace them every other day or sometimes more frequently. Occasionally, one would be a dud. I tried Rayovac because they claimed to be the longest lasting, but found no difference in battery life. The expiration date is SEP 2021.
If the battery life is as short as mentioned, I will go through the remaining 16 batteries quickly.
My battery only lasts a few days in the cold.
