The headphones are comfortable to wear for an extended amount of time and provide a bit of extra room, making them more comfortable.
The new cushions are slightly firmer than the original Beats pads, but they are still comfortable and the firmer pad makes the sound more isolated, resulting in better headphone performance.
There is a slight difference in comfort between the original beats pads and these pads. These pads are a little firmer, but the trade-off is increased sound isolation, which is what I am after anyway.
