The ear pads are very comfortable for long periods of time as they are at least twice as large as the stock pads.
After fitting the Brainwavs earpads on my HD 4.40, I realized the importance of comfort for any headphones/headsets.
I expected the new pads to be sweaty and uncomfortable, but to my surprise, they are actually more comfortable, both short and long-term, than the stock pads.

The leather quality of the headphone-earpads is nice and soft, just like the originals, and is stitched together perfectly. The memory foam inside is only slightly harder than the originals, but still very soft and plush.
The earpads are made of a very soft and squishy foam and I was blown away by the difference in comfort they provide.
