With this headphone amp, I can hear impressive bass quality compared to when headphones were plugged directly into the monitor.
I find the item useful for getting good quality audio and more volume from a quiet source. It can also act as a volume attenuator with louder sources. I use it from a too loud line signal to the audio input of my camera, to reduce gain and hiss.
Replacing the poor quality usb cable and 3mm jack with better ones can improve the sound quality of the headphone-amps, as I have recommended.
