The sound quality is vastly superior to a cell phone direct output. It is very clear, neutral and punchy. I can drive my cans of various impedance with no issue whatsoever.

When I used my iPhone 8 Max and streamed MQA or hi-Res 24bit 44khz on TIDAL masters, I noticed a significant improvement in sound quality. Specifically, I tried a certain album and felt a greater definition, wider soundscape, and real punch to the vocals.
