About ZOOAUX USB C to 3.5mm Headphone and Charger Adapter
Overall Feedback:
84% positive
79% praised for its clear audio quality, while 21% experienced audio distortion
There are a couple of annoying issues with audio. When I unplug my charger from the adapter, the audio stops playing, but this isnt a huge deal. What gets on my nerves is the adapter going into a sleep mode of sorts and it takes a second for audio to start going through, and it happens every time I boot it up from complete silence.
The audio quality is compressed and music sounds muddy, especially in chuggy guitar riffs. It may not be suitable for everyone.
When I connected an AUX cable and power cable to it, the sound quality was extremely flawed.
If you have high quality headphones or listen in quiet areas, it's better to spend a few dollars and get something of higher quality.
When I use the headphone adapter to make a call, the audio quality is poor. It cuts out, sounds muffled and distorts my voice.
78% appreciated its durable build, but 22% found it flimsy
The build quality of the ZOOAUX adapter is impressive. It feels sturdy and well-made, and the sleek black design matches perfectly with my devices.
I advise against purchasing these headphone adapters for talking to people.
I noticed that the volume of the phone is lower than the normal jack on my phone, but I am still going to use it. Thus, the build quality of the headphone adapter is not up to the mark.
75% liked the seamless connector compatibility, but 25% experienced connectivity issues
When I connect the usb-c, my phone starts making a popping noise through the speaker. However, the aux cable works fine.
As soon as I connect a charger, I get an annoying buzz sound through the audio connection, making it useless.
80% found it easy to use, but 20% had difficulties
A built-in volume control option on the adapter itself would be a convenient addition, allowing for easy adjustment of volume without accessing the device.
70% praised for its flexible and adjustable length, while 30% found it too short or inflexible
The cable cord of this adapter is of a decent length, providing flexibility without being excessively long or cumbersome.
During calls, I have noticed that the headphones are not effective as people cannot hear me properly.
83% appreciated its compatibility with multiple devices
I have used the adapter with various USB C devices, including Samsung Galaxy S22, S21, S20, S20+ Ultra, Note 20, Note 10, as well as the Google Pixel 4 and 3 XL. In each case, it worked flawlessly, providing a reliable audio connection and fast charging capabilities. This proves its versatility with multiple devices.
