On my Samsung Note 10+, the sound quality is crystal clear with no artifacting or distortion.
I was impressed with the difference in audio quality when I used this adapter with my phone and work laptop. Comparing it with the adapter supplied with the Pixel 3, it is a huge upgrade. The highs and lows are much more noticeable, the sound is more full, and the quality is much better.
The sound quality is fine and I cannot tell the difference between these and the other Samsung brand adapter I have.

I purchased this product based on great reviews and reviewers stating it worked well with Samsung phones. However, I faced an issue with Apple headsets that worked with my Galaxy S8 but not with this extension jack. It works fine with android compatible headsets.
I can use the adapter with my VSD1s microphone and media control button, just like when all phones had a 3.5 mm jack.
I wanted an adapter to send audio from a 3.5mm cable into my newer Mac that has no separate audio input jack, but it did not work as an input adapter.
With the increasing number of phones and devices ditching their 3.5mm jacks, I need dongles like this.
