I tested the adapter on my own car at home and found that it works fine with my Android phone. The audio quality is fine and I can charge my phone while listening.
The sound quality is good and it does not limit the quality when I use it with really nice headphones.
I had to get this adapter because Samsung started running audio through the USB port and took away the separate audio jack on their phones. It did the trick for me and now I can cruise in my vehicle with streaming music while simultaneously charging the phone battery. The adapter is also of nice quality and durable.
When I use it with my other phone that has a headphone jack, the sound quality is superior.

The adapter is nicely constructed with a metallic braid protecting the cables and looks quite durable. I expect it to last a long time if coupled with quality plugs.
The sound quality is good and the connector doesn't limit it. I also used it with really nice headphones.

When I want to listen to music or movies, I connect my headphones with a 3.5mm plug to the USB-C jack on my iPhone 15 Pro Max using the adapters, and they work fine.
This adapter is amazing with very secure connections. It even allows me to connect a gaming headset that wouldn't connect with my other aux adaptor.
I did not push the 3.5mm jack into the secure female connector, which caused the issue.
