I am confident that the cable can withstand any pull and hook as it is thicker than the Apple connector.
The headphone adapter worked fine for about a week, but then it started to become static and would only work if the chord was bent a certain way. Eventually, it stopped working altogether and broke in half when I pulled it out of my phone. It was one of the worst purchases of my life and a waste of money.
A fourth pin of the TRRS connector is missing.
While pulling it out of my phone, the USB part separated from the rest of the cord.
