I installed one of these bulbs and was impressed with the improvement in brightness and light pattern. However, when I installed the second bulb, it did not work. I then invested in a plug-in resistor set to simulate the resistance needed, which made everything work fine again.
I used the product for my dirtbike and found it to be a direct plug and play. I thought it would need resistors but it did not flicker.

The bulb I'm using is roughly 2x brighter than the incandescent 912/921 bulb shown.
The bulbs are brighter than the halogens I replaced them with and I guess they are around 2000 lumens, which is perfectly good brightness.
