I've noticed that the cable wakes the monitor up about every 1 in 20 times and now it can't wake the monitor up at all.
Every 30 minutes, the second screen blacks out, even when the connection is secure and the plugs are sturdy.
The cable worked fine for a few weeks, but now it is completely unusable. My computer recognizes the monitor only for a second before disconnecting, so the display flashes on and off repeatedly.
After using the cable for more than an hour, it tends to overheat and the signal cuts out randomly for 10-20 second intervals.
